Abstract

AbstractNa2MCdSb2 and K2MCdSb2 (M: Ca, Sr, Ba, Eu, Yb) are synthesized from stoichiometric mixtures of the metals (Nb tubes, 900 °C, 40 h) and the title solid solutions are prepared by reaction of the elements in a Pb flux (alumina crucible, 960 °C, 20 h).
