Abstract
AbstractPolycrystalline samples of the title compounds are prepared following a new route using "stabilized MnO": (1) decomposition of stoichiometric amounts of the oxalates of Mg and Mn at 850 °C in N2 to yield MnO·MgO solid solution; 2) mixing with Fe2O3 and heating to 1000 °C in N2 for 12 h).
