Abstract
AbstractFrom comparison of Tafel polarization lines and potential decay data for the kinetic behavior of the cathodic H2 evolution reaction (HER) at Au in acid and alkaline solution, it is concluded that there is very little coverage of the OPD Hintermediate involved in the steady‐state process of HER of appreciable current densities.
