AbstractThe octahedral tris(bipyridine)‐Mo(III) complex (I) is obtained by reaction of (NH4)2(MoCl5(OH2)) with three equiv. of 2,2'‐bipyridine in MeOH at room temp. followed by addition of NH4PF6 (yield given in mg).
