Abstract

AbstractBilayer lipid membranes from bovine brain phosphatidylserine, glyceryl monooleate, and (I) are used as matrices for microcrystalline semiconductors (CdS, CuS, Cu2S, PbS, ZnS, HgS, and In2S3), stable for several days, which are generated in situ from appropriate metal ion precursors and H2S injected into the bathing solution on opposite sides of the membrane.
