Abstract

AbstractThe addition of the tin Lewis acids Ph3Sn‐O‐CO‐C7F15 and Ph3Sn‐O‐SO2‐C6F13 in hydrocarbon oxidation reactions using iodosylbenzene and the Mn porphyrin complex (Ia) increases the reactivity and reduces the radical character by converting (Ia) into (Ib) and (Ic).
