Abstract
AbstractPyroglutaminol‐derived bicyclic α,β‐unsaturated lactams in which the aminal moiety originates from ketones afford products from syn‐conjugate addition whereas the corresponding lactams with an aldehyde‐derived aminal moiety deliver anti‐conjugate products.
