Abstract
AbstractBenzo‐ and naphthofurans are obtained via a one‐pot cascade process involving a base‐mediated carba‐Michael addition of arenols to MBH acetates of nitroalkanes, followed by substitution of acetate in an overall SN2reaction and a subsequent intramolecular oxa‐Michael addition.
