AbstractThe one‐pot cyclizations of butadiene derivatives with alkoxyalkenones proceed with good regioselectivity by conjugate addition of the terminal carbon atom of the diene to the enone and subsequent cyclization that occurs in most cases via the trifluoroacetyl group.
