AbstractDie Tropolonverbindung (Ia) und ihre Methylether (Ib) bzw. (V) reagieren mit o‐Aminophenol (II) in Ethanol zu den Anilinotroponen (III) bzw. (VI) . Diese cyclisieren beim Erhitzen in Essigsäure/Hz S04 zu den Benzoxazinen (IV) bzw. (VII).
