Abstract
AbstractPd‐catalyzed amination of iodoarenes with aminopyridine (I) followed by intramolecular C‐H arylation in the presence of DBU as base and 2‐(dicyclohexylphosphino)biphenyl as catalyst offers a practical synthetic route to α‐carbolines.
