Abstract
Abstract Titanium sulphide of the type 12R was prepared without difficulty by addition of a small amount of antimony (0.3 wt.%), although the 12R structure is difficult to prepare from elements. The 12R structure was obtained in the composition of TiS1.72-TiS1.78 at a temperature of 700–800 °C.
