Abstract

AbstractThe reaction of a polymeric Mn(III) acetate, readily obtained from the oxidation of Mn(II) acetate‐tetrahydrate with Bu4NMnO4, with acetic acid or benzoic acid in the presence of an excess of neutral donor ligands leads to the high‐yield formation of the trinuclear oxo‐centered Mn complexes (I).
