AbstractCu samples of copper used in statuary and exposed to the atmosphere for z 100 years and of a roo‐ ?ng material exposed to the atmosphere for z 40 years are analyzed by ion chromatography in order to investigate the influence of organic acids in the atmosphere on the corrosion of metals and alloys.
