AbstractArachidonsäure (I) läßt sich enzymatisch katalysiert mit O, zum Endoperoxid PGG, (II) oxidativ cyclisieren, das mit Glutathion zum Dihydroxyprostaglandin PGE, (I11) ge‐ öffnet wird; dieses liefert mit KOH das Prostaglandin PGB, (IV).
