AbstractThe title compounds (III), valuable intermediates in the preparation of e.g. heterocycles or dyes, are prepared by a novel and effective two‐step procedure: in the presence of a Pd catalyst the perfluoroalkyl iodides (I) add to the vinyl ethers (II) and subsequent elimination of HI from these adducts yields the desired products (III) as mixtures of cis and trans isomers.
