Abstract

AbstractKinetic measurements at 60 °C in the pH range of 5‐13 show the rate of oxidation to be maximum at pH 8. The reaction is found to be first order in regard to (IO4‐) and between first and second order in regard to (Se(IV)), depending on (Se(IV)) and pH.
