Abstract

AbstractPhosphorylation of cis‐propenyl vinyl ether (I) with phosphorus pentachloride (II) produces the trichlorophosphonium hexachlorophosphate (III) which is transformed into the phosphonic dichloride (IV) or the phosphonous dichloride (V) upon treatment with sulfur dioxide and tetrabutylammonium iodide respectively.
