Abstract

AbstractHighly enantioselective cyanation of β‐keto esters such as (I), (IV), and (VI) is achieved using hypervalent iodine reagent (II) as electrophilic cyanating reagent and a cinchona alkaloid‐based chiral quaternary ammonium salt as catalyst.
