AbstractN‐3‐substituted dihydropyrimidinones are regioselectively prepared by using the title procedure concerning the reaction between dihydropyrimidinones, paraformaldehyde (II), chlorotrimethylsilane, alcohols, secondary amine, and sodium salts.
