AbstractThe reaction of epoxides with tert‐butanesulfinamide in the presence of a Lewis acid, such as erbium triflate or boron trifluoride—diethyl ether, in THF as solvent, under microwave or thermal activation, produces N‐tert‐butylsulfinylimines in reasonable yields.
