AbstractThree new carbon‐carbon bond forming reactions, which use new catalyst systems involving Sn(II) compounds are described: 1. a combination of trityl chloride and SnCl2 (see A)), an efficient and extremely mild catalyst system, promotes aldol and Michael reactions.
