Abstract
AbstractKBaYMP2SiO12 (M: Zr, Sn), KBaLnZrP2SiO12 (Ln: La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy), and the spent nuclear fuel waste variant KBaY0.6La0.1Nd0.1Sm0.1 Eu0.1ZrP2SiO12 are prepared from stoichiometric aqueous solutions containing KCl, ZrOCl2, and SnCl4 to which Ba(NO3)2 and Y(NO3)3 solutions are added prior to precipitation with H3PO4 and Si(OEt)4 dissolved in a 1:1 mixture of HNO3 and EtOH.
