Abstract

AbstractThe polycrystalline Na‐α′‐GeGaON (NamGe12‐ (m+n)Gam+nOnN16‐n) solid solution is prepared as a single phase by gas reduction—nitridation of mixtures of Na2CO3, GeO2, and Ga2O3 in the solubility range of m ≈0.8—1.7 with n ≈0.2—0.3 (Al2O3 crucible, 875 °C, 4 h; NH3/1.5 vol% methane stream).
