AbstractMicrowave‐promoted diethylamine‐catalyzed three‐component reaction of arylglyoxals, 5‐aminopyrazoles, and cyclic 1,3‐diones offers a direct synthesis of the title compounds (IV) and (VI) in moderate yields.
