AbstractMicrowave‐assisted three‐component reaction of isatoic anhydride (I) with hippuric acid (II) and aromatic aldehydes affords the new quinazolinone derivatives (IV), which react with aromatic aldehydes under microwave irradiation conditions to give oxazole derivatives (VI).
