Abstract

AbstractSuperconducting MgB2 nanofibers are prepared in high yield by vacuum pyrolysis of Mg(BH4)2 (obtained by milling of NaBH4 and MgCl2 for 10 h under 5 bar H2, 90% yield) in a steel reactor at 460 °C for 1 h (95% yield).
