Abstract

AbstractThe optical absorption spectrum (270‐500 nm) of the sulfate radical anion, SO4‐, is obtained following laser photolysis of K2S2O8 solutions at 248 nm and its decay in the presence of S2O82‐ and Fe(II) is investigated using kinetic spectrophotometric techniques.
