Abstract
AbstractFe(OAc)2 was used as catalyst for the reaction of ethyl glyoxylate or pyruvates with 2‐methylquinolines, 2‐methylpyridines, 2‐methylquinoxaline and 1‐methylisoquinoline to achieve the corresponding azaarene‐derived lactic acid derivatives.
