Abstract

AbstractIt is shown, that fast magic‐angle spinning 1H NMR provides a powerful method for distinguishing and quantitating the various different chemical environments in which hydrogen atoms can occur in crystalline calcium phosphates, i.e., hydroxyapatite, fluorohydroxyapatites, calcium monohydrogen phosphate (moneite), calcium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate (brushite), and octacalciumphosphate, including solid solutions.
