Abstract
AbstractBenzo[c]chromene‐tricarbonitrile (IV) and dicarbonitrile (VI) derivatives are obtained in a one‐pot, three‐component reaction of aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile (III), and 2‐(2,3‐dihydrochromen‐4‐ylidene)malononitrile (I) in ionic liquids.
