Abstract

AbstractThe new compounds K0.55Au2Ga2 (I), KAu3Ga2 (II), KAu2Ga4 (III), and KAu0.33Ga2.67 (IV) are synthesized by solid state reactions of the elements (500 °C for 24—48 h and 350 °C for 5—7 d) and characterized by powder and single crystal XRD, and ASA‐TB‐LMTO electronic structure calculations.
