Abstract
AbstractThe synthesis of the cyclopentane subunit (IV) of jatrophane diterpenes is described using Grubbs′ enyne metathesis of alkyne (I) and stereoselective Pd‐catalyzed ring opening of the epoxide (III) as key steps.
