Abstract
AbstractUsing a series of chiral bifunctional hydrogen‐bonding organocatalysts, the asymmetric cascade Michael/cyclization reaction between 2‐substituted thiazolones and 2‐(2‐oxoindolin‐3‐ylidene)malononitriles gives novel, potentially bioactive thiazole‐fused spirooxindoles with good product yields and excellent enantioselectivities.
