Abstract
AbstractThe reaction of arenes (II) with the ω‐azido alkanoic acid chlorides (I), (IV), and (VI) is carried out in the presence of a Lewis acid under mild conditions to afford the corresponding N‐aryl lactams in good to high yields and short reaction times.
