Abstract

AbstractThe reaction of the title compounds (I) with the furans and pyrroles (II) and (V) in the presence of AgzO gives the expected [4 + 3] cycloadducts (III), (IV), (VI)‐(IX) and (XI); yields are markedly lower, however, than in the corresponding conversions of unsubstituted furan studied previously.
