Abstract

AbstractThe reaction of Grignard reagents (I) and (IIa) with dibromides (III) in the presence of small amounts of CuBr and HMPA affords mixtures of (IV)‐(VI) in overall yields of 88‐ 100% [only 60% for the analogous products if iPrMgBr is employed instead of (I)].
