Abstract
AbstractThe title complex, easily prepared by the solid state reaction of Cu(II)acetate and glycine, is found to be an efficient and recycable catalyst for the Ullmann type synthesis of diaryl ethers (III) via the cross coupling of phenols (I) with aryl bromides or iodides (II).
