AbstractThe combination of CuCN with the bulky ligand P(tBu)3 effectively promotes the transfer of both the CF3 and acyloxy group from Togni′s reagent (II) to dienes, affording the corresponding E‐olefins or the trans configured allylic alcohol derivative (IX) after hydrolysis.
