AbstractCopper acetylides, activated by oxidation with oxygen in the presence of simple nitrogen ligands, undergo a formal umpolung and are able to transfer their alkyne subunit to a wide range of heteronucleophiles, including amides, oxazolidinones, imines and dialkyl phosphites.
