AbstractThe SN2′—SN2′reaction catalyzed by a quinine‐derived base produces γ‐selective secondary allylic oxazolone derivatives, whereas the addition—elimination reaction catalyzed by an amino acid‐derived bifunctional urea catalyst provides β‐selective primary adducts.
