AbstractThe honeycomb‐like lanthanide sulfates (H2pip)3 [Ln3(OH)(SO4)7] (Ln: Sm, Eu, and Tb; pip: piperazine) are prepared by solvothermal reaction of Ln2O3, H2SO4, and piperazine in a 3:2 glycol/H2O mixed solvent (autoclave, 453 K, 6 d).
