Abstract

AbstractThe coupling of the chiral diphenyloxazinone (I) with the cuprate reagent derived from lithiated benzenes such as (II) and copper bromide ‐dimethyl sulfide yields stereoselectively the arylated derivative (III) which after N‐deprotection and ring cleavage gives the desired D‐phenylglycine (V).
