AbstractThe 1,4‐addition of alkyl‐Mg chlorides (IV) to conjugated N‐enoylsultames and subsequent enolate trapping with aqueous NH4Cl or MeI (V)/HMPA generates centers of asymmetry with good to excellent π‐face differentiation as demonstrated in the scheme by the conversions shown: (I) → (II) + (III), (I) → (VI) + (VII) + (VIII), (IX) → (X) + (XI), (XII) → (XIII) + (XIV) + (XV).
