Abstract
AbstractTransition metal‐catalyzed atom transfer radical cyclization of N‐tosyl‐N‐allyl‐α‐polychloroamides produces N‐tosylated γ‐lactams, which can be highly efficiently N‐deprotected by thermolysis in a 1:1 mixtures of 96% H2SO4 and acetic acid.
