AbstractThe sequential multicomponent assembly process/cyclization approach is extended for the diversity oriented synthesis of skeletally distinct unnatural products containing fused tetrahydroisoquinolines, 2‐aryl piperidines, e.g. (XXIX), benzodiazepines, e.g. (IV), isoindolinones, e.g. (XII), and norbenzomorphans, e.g. (XIX).
