AbstractFurther investigation of the South African tree Combretum caffrum for murine P‐388 lymphocytic leukemia (PS system) cell‐growth inhibitory substances leads to the discovery of three new active constituents designated combretastatins A‐2 (IIIa), A‐3 (IIIc) and B‐2 (VII).
