AbstractThe reaction of orthoesters (II) and (V) with indoles (I) and (IV) is performed in the non‐toxic and reusable hexafluoroisopropanol medium to afford the pure tris(indolyl)methanes (III) and (VI), resp., in high yields and short reaction times.
