Abstract
Abstract A general synthesis of alkynyl and alkenyl silylethers is described. This involves reaction of alkynyl or alkenyl organometallic reagents, usually the lithio derivatives, with chlorodimethylaminodimethylsilane, followed by reaction of the product with an alcohol.
