AbstractA mixed Cu/Zn‐catalyst supported on Al2O3‐TiO2 is used as catalyst for the cyclocondensation of 2‐aminopyridines or amidine hydrochlorides with nitriles to give the corresponding 1,2,4‐triazoles.
